Sebastián Contreras-Huerta, faculty member at the School of Psychology UAI and researcher at the Center for Social and Cognitive Neuroscience (CSCN), was invited to give a talk at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. He shared findings from his Fondecyt Iniciación project and collaborations with University of Oxford, Birmingham City University, and University of Vienna, highlighting how empathy, harm aversion, required effort, and internal bodily signals shape prosocial decisions.
