Dr. Sebastián Contreras-Huerta, Principal Investigator at ESDLab, was invited to share his expert perspective in an article published by Carbon Brief, one of the most internationally recognized outlets for science communication on climate change. The piece discusses a study recently published in Nature Climate Change, which examines how people in the Global South perceive climate risks and the role of trust in scientific information.

In his contribution, Dr. Contreras-Huerta highlighted the significance of these findings for understanding how trust in science can inform both communication strategies and public policies addressing climate change in Global South contexts.
